Each day, hard-working people across the country devote themselves to their job. While working, things sometimes go wrong and an alarming number of people have been involved in workplace accidents in San Bernardino, and across California. Tragically, these accidents often claim lives and cause serious injuries that permanently alter the course of a worker’s life. Moreover, these accidents can also have a tremendous impact on the families of workers as well.
A Wisconsin worker recently lost his life in what appears to have been an industrial accident. According to authorities, the 41-year-old man was declared dead at the site of the jobsite incident. The accident is being investigated by officials in Wisconsin as well as the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
The man who passed away worked for a company that produces aluminum castings and received an award for Small Business of the Year in 2015. The worker was the son-in-law of the company’s owner and leaves behind a wife and three children.
When workplace accidents claim lives, it is very important for the details of what took place to be fully understood. Sometimes, negligent behavior causes fatal workplace accidents and those who have broken the law have to be held accountable. Families who have lost a loved one at work often have unbearable emotional pain, but they should explore all avenues and ensure that their loved one receives justice. Sometimes, reaching out to an expert attorney can provide a better understanding of the smartest path forward.
